Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive in Scotland

Arrive in Scotland, pick up your rental car and head to Dornoch for a 3-night stay.

Day 2: Golf at Royal Dornoch Golf Club

A shrine for the devoted, the Royal Dornoch Golf Club has been described as “one of the greatest courses in the five continents” by five-time Open Champion Tom Watson. Herbert Warren Wind said “…no golfer has completed his education until he has played and studied Royal Dornoch”. The remote setting, magnificent history and incredible plateau greens combine to ensure an invigorating and unforgettable round of golf. Founded 1877.

Day 3: Golf at Tain Golf Club

Tain Golf Course is an Old Tom Morris design. He chose an undoubtedly beautiful area on which to design his most northerly course. The course benefits from some sheltered areas combined with some holes overlooking the Dornoch Firth. A true hidden gem. Founded 1890.

Day 4: Golf at Nairn Golf Club

Majestic views over Moray Firth and the beautiful seaside town of Nairn combine with the warm and encouraging welcome with which golfers are greeted to create a refreshing playing atmosphere at this pleasant club. A superb golfing challenge. Founded 1897. After golf, head to Aberdeen for a 3-night stay.

Day 5: Golf at Cruden Bay Golf Club

Situated on Scotland’s Buchan coast, Cruden Bay offers traditional Scottish links in a warm, friendly atmosphere. The course features several blind shots, sand dunes, burns, and forceful winds that must be negotiated. The inspiring views of the Bay, the mysterious backdrop of Slains Castle, and the challenging holes combine for a memorable round of golf. Founded 1901.

Day 6: Golf at Royal Aberdeen Golf Club

This is the sixth oldest golf club in the world. It has been said that the last hole is the most difficult. It is a lengthy par four, well bunkered and usually played into the wind. With no less than ninety-two bunkers, combined with the seemingly ever present wind, Royal Aberdeen is certain to test your skills. Founded 1780.

Day 7: Depart Scotland

Transfer to the Airport, drop off your car rental and board your flight back to the U.S.
