Itinerary

Day 1: Florence – Siena

Arrive in Florence and transfer from Florence airport (FLR) to your hotel in Siena. Enjoy a Welcome Dinner in the Piazza del Campo, one of Europe’s greatest medieval squares. (D)

Day 2: Siena

In the morning, take a guided visit of Siena, including the entrance to the Cathedral. Join a tasting in Siena of pecorino cheese with honey, bruschetta with olive oil, typical Tuscan salami and Chianti Colli Senesi. Include a visit to the ancient well. In the afternoon, experience a cooking lesson and dinner in a cooking school in Siena. At the end of the course, participants will receive a diploma. (BB D)

Day 3: Chianti District

Full Day excursion: In the morning, visit the Chianti region with wine tasting in a winery and lunch in a typical restaurant. After lunch, visit the town of Colle Val d’Elsa and a chocolate tasting in an enoteca. Dinner is on your own tonight. (BB L)

Day 4: Cooking Class

In the morning, transfer to a farmhouse in the Chianti region for a cooking class based on regional specialties. Afterward enjoy the lunch we have created. (BB L)

Day 5: Winery & Olive Oil Tasting

Full Day excursion in Val d’Orcia region: in the morning visit Sant’Antimo Abbey, and join a wine and olive oil tasting in a winery. Light lunch at the Enoteca of Montalcino After lunch, visit Montalcino and transfer back to Siena. Tonight’s Farewell Dinner is in a delightful restaurant in Siena. (BB L D)

Day 6: Siena – Florence

Breakfast in Siena. Check-out of hotel. Today, we transfer to Florence. First, we stop in Greve in Chianti for a light lunch and wine tasting. Arrive in Florence and stop in Piazzale Michelangelo to admire the wonderful panorama. Check-in at your hotel. Dinner on your own. (BB L)

Day 7: Florence

After breakfast enjoy a private walking tour of Florence. The walking guided tour of the Duomo complex includes: Giotto’s bell tower, the Baptistery, and the Cathedral with the magnificent Cupola del Brunelleschi. Visit Galleria dell’ Accademia, where you can admire the famous David by Michelangelo. (BB)

Day 8: Florence

Transfer from hotel to Florence airport (FLR). (BB)
